My philosophy on relationships is equal parts old world and hyper modern.
I believe in long term commitment, but I don’t believe in monogamy. I believe that all relationships take work to sustain, and I abhor the suggestion that a relationship with financial benefits cannot be real or genuine.
I value loyalty as much as I value my time.
I value my independence above all.
The people I keep in my life tend to share these views.
They want a relationship rooted in mutual love and adoration, but they would never try to cage me.
Thus, they receive priority in my calendar. They get my attention when they want or need it between dates. They take care of me like I am family, and I see them as part of mine.
These relationships are among the most important in my life, and I’m incredibly proud of the ones I’ve maintained for nearly a decade. This fact always surprises people who are unfamiliar with the demimonde, but I think this structure is the way of the future for relationships.
