nyc spa dates
If you’re looking for a discreet date activity that combines eroticism and relaxation, the spa date is a perfect option. These are my five favorite spas.
AIRE ANCIENT BATHS, Tribeca - Located in a converted textile factory, Aire offers a romantic and serene spa experience with massages, thermal pools, and a saltwater pool, that I keep going back to. Their Wine Bath experience is still on my to-do list.
SPA DE LA MER at the BACCARAT HOTEL, Midtown - Ever had a massage so good that you burst into tears? I have, and it was here. Make it a 24 hour date by booking a hotel stay with afternoon tea, a visit to MoMA across the street, and dinner at the double-Michelin-starred The Modern.
BATHOUSE, Williamsburg - Trendy Brooklyn bathouse with a more social atmosphere, featuring thermal pools, a starlight steam room, dry & tropical saunas, and an inventive onsite restaurant, Bathouse Kitchen.
SHIBUI SPA in the GREENWICH HOTEL, Tribeca - Still on my list to try, but I’ve heard wonderful things about this Japanese-inspired spa. Make it an overnight with a hotel stay.
PREMIER 57, Midtown - My favorite spa for Korean scrubs, which can be highly erotic.
SOJO SPA CLUB, Edgewater NJ - Still on my list to try. Boasting a spectacular view of the skyline, and eight floors of spa amenities, this might be an all-day excursion.
